There were people saying that Vasa went down because there were women onboard of the ship, during her maiden voyage. Women onboard brought bad luck.
Even though, we know from the history that during the 17th century there were women working as seamen, although dressed as men. How was their life? What happened if they were discovered?
The tours at The Vasa Museum during Pride, asks questions without simple answers about women and men onboard of the ships during the 17th and 18th centuries.
