Accessible Lavatories
Accessible Lavatories are located on entrance level on the right hand
side of the information desk and at the stern of the ship on floor
three.

Baby strollers are permitted in the museum
Bus
parking
The Vasa Museum bus parking is found outside the Museum
Cloakroom
The cloakroom is situated on entrance level next to the information
desk. The cloakroom is unattended.
Companion Dogs
Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs for the deaf are welcome. All other pets
are not allowed in the museum.
Companions
Visitors who require assistance in reading wall text and/or object labels
may bring a companion at no extra charge.
Currencies
The Museum shop and the ticket office accept payments in the
following currencies: Norwegian and Danish Crowns, Euro, American
Dollars and British Pounds. Please note that only bills are accepted,
no coins. The change is given in Swedish Crowns.
Group Visits
Advance reservations are recommended for all groups of ten or more
adults, or ten or more students with chaperones.
Guided tours
A guided tour around the museum for individuals is included in the
ticket charge. In the summertime, the guided tours start every hour.
Groups larger than ten should book their own guide.
Lifts
There are 3 lifts which are situated by the main stairs on the starboard
and port side (aft) of the ship as well as one between the main and
small auditorium. The two first lifts provide access to all levels.
Limited Parking for Disabled Users Only
is available in the Museum's
forecourt. Please have your vehicle details ready
Lost and Found
Inquire at Information Desks about lost belongings. If you have left
something behind at the Museum, call +46 8 519 558 10
Luggage Restrictions
Large rucksacks or suitcases are not allowed inside the museum.
Some limited provision for storage of luggage items is available at
the information desk lockers. These items may not be carried through
the Museum precincts.
Information sheets
A free museum map in

languages (Swedish, English, German,
French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish, Russian, Estonian,
Latvian, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic) to help visitors find their
way in the museum and the galleries, is available next to the
information desk.
Parking
A car park is situated close to the museum.
Photography
The use of photography (cameras, video equipment) is permitted in
the museum.
Reduced admission
Admission is reduced on Wednesdays 21/8-9/6 5pm - 8pm. 75 SEK
Wheelchairs
The museum is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available on
request for use by visitors. Please ask a security guard for assistance.
