The film about Vasa is shown in several languages, and for the youngest visitors there is a children’s film, The Vasa Piglet. It is shown daily in English, German, Finnish, Russian and Swedish. Young visitors admission. Children younger than 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Welcome to explore Vasa's exciting history!

The Vasa Museum is open every day all year around. For more information, visit: vasamuseet.se/en You can always buy tickets upon arrival. Admission: 230 SEK May - August 31. 195 SEK September-May Youth up to 18 years old: free of charge.

Getting here

The Vasa Museum is situated at Galärvarvsvägen 14 in Stockholm. A short walk from the city centre. You can also get here by tram, bus or boat.

Life on board

The warship Vasa to be supported with Swedish steel from Alleima

needed for the ship's new internal support structure, a steel skeleton. The work to replace Vasa’s support structure is expected to be completed in 2028, just in time for the ship's 400th anniversary.
