Staff redundancies in the wake of the Corona pandemic

The Swedish National Maritime and Transport Museums (SMTM) which operates the Vasa Museum, the National Naval Museum, the National Maritime Museum and the National Railway Museum, has been forced to make make 69 staff redundant due to the financial crisis caused by the Coronavirus. The impact on the travel and tourism industry is severe and will affect SMTM for a long time to come.
