The museum is closed:

Adults:  SEK 130 
Students: SEK 110 (with valid student ID)
18 years and under: Free of charge
Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times during their visit.
Season ticket: SEK 200-300, gives free admission to the Vasa Museum. 

We accept cash or American Express, VISA, Master Card, Diners Club International and Maestro.

Before your visit

Getting here

The Vasa Museum is situated on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm. You can get here by tram, bus, car or metro.


There are a limited number of parking spaces available near the museum.


Lockers are available for smaller bags.


Prams can be brought into the museum, but should be left outside the restaurant.

Audio guides

Audio guides are available in several languages and can be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet in advance or on-site. The museum has free Wi-Fi.

Guided tours

Guided tours are included in the entrance fee. There are regular tours throughout the day in English and Swedish, with tours in other languages during high season.


The Vasa Museum Restaurant serves hot and cold food, as well as tea and cakes, during museum opening hours.

Lunch room

Visitors who bring their own lunch are welcome to enjoy it in a specially allocated space on the ground floor (level 4).


Toilets are located at the entrance, by the information desk, on the third floor and in the restaurant. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available at the entrance, next to the cloakroom, and in the restaurant.
