Alleima supports Vasa with Swedish steel

The Vasa Museum has chosen the Swedish speciality steel company Alleima, headquartered in Sandviken in Sweden, as its key partner in the Support Vasa project. Alleima brings unique expertise and is sponsoring sponsoring the Vasa Museum with all the steel needed for the ship's new internal support structure.

Sunken ships in LEGO® bricks are moving into the Vasa Museum

coming to the Vasa Museum in February. Brickwrecks is an exhibition featuring LEGO® models that bring to life eight world-famous shipwrecks, including Vasa. In the exhibition, visitors can sink the warship warship Vasa, test out different archaeological methods and, of course, build with LEGO®.

Life on board

In Life on board retrieved objects from Vasa are exhibited, and we can form a picture of everyday life on a warship including clothes, food and illness. 

Espingen - Vasa´s longboat
